Cases of COVID and hospitalizations in NC have continued to decline again this week. Vaccination numbers increased last week with NC now having 37.9% of the total population and 76.4% of persons age 65 years and older now fully vaccinated. With the increasing vaccinations and easing of restrictions on outdoor events, Memorial Day tours of the New Garden graveyard will resume on the 31st. We will still take precautions, however. Friends, we are tentatively planning to resume in-person programmed meeting for worship at 10:00 a.m. (not 11 a.m.), beginning on June 6, 2021, outdoors (weather permitting) on the grounds of our meeting house.
