New Garden Friends Meeting has relationships with other Quaker organizations that share our Quaker values and need our support. The Meeting supports these organizations with financial support and representatives who help guide the work of the organizations. One of these organizations is Quaker House. Based in Fayetteville, home of Ft. Bragg, Quaker House provides counseling and support to service members who are questioning their role in the military; educates them, their families, and the public about military issues; and advocates for a more peaceful world. Currently, David Mengert is New Garden’s representative to Quaker House. There are openings for more representatives.
