Cases of COVID and hospitalizations continued to significantly increase in the last week in NC with the far more infectious Delta variant continuing to drive the outbreak. There has been a dramatic increase of cases of COVID in NC since July 1. The state’s positivity rate of COVID tests performed has continued to be much higher than the benchmark for the state. News from Adult Young Friends In-person Gathering, July 2021

PFYM Adult Young Friends (AYF) met in person in Saxapahaw, NC, on Morgan Siem’s land on July 10. We had 11 participants. Three of us showed up early to help pull some invasive weeds and support the native plants on Morgan’s land. Once all Friends arrived, we shared a meal and enjoyed fellowship. Summer Program / August 28, 2021

Summer Program will run on three Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 19, July 10 and August 28. Summer Program has always been a cooperative program.
