5 p.m. – 8 p.m. / Friendship Hall Join us for fun in the sun this summer at New Garden Friends Meeting! We’ll enjoy delicious meals, making music, doing crafts, and learning more about Quaker Women past and present. Dinner begins at 5 p.m. in Friendship Hall. Children and babies may be dedicated during worship on any Sunday of the year, but many families choose to dedicate children on the days observed as Mother’s Day (May 13) or Father’s Day (June 17). Baby/Child dedications are an opportunity for all of us to welcome a child into our community and promise to love and support the entire family in child-rearing.

Parlor Forum / 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Is it possible to move from the Second Amendment being used as a “trump card” that shuts down debate to a place where opposing views about its content can hold a conversation about its usage in current times? Andy Haile of Elon University School of Law will assist us in understanding the history and meaning of the Second Amendment.

After 11 a.m. worship on Easter Sunday, preschool and elementary age children are invited to join in for a joyful Easter egg hunt behind the Meetinghouse. Adults are invited to come and watch the fun!
