Children and babies can be dedicated during worship on any Sunday of the year but many families choose to dedicate children on either 5/13 or 6/17. Baby/Child dedications are an opportunity for all of us to welcome a child into our community and promise to support and love that child.

Anna Sykes solo with Orchestra

Dana Auditorium, Guilford College / NGFM’s very own, Anna Sykes, will be soloing with the Greensboro Symphony Youth Orchestra in Dana Auditorium on the Guilford College campus. Anna will be playing the first movement of the Mendelssohn, Violin Concerto in E Minor, Op. 64. Anna is receiving this opportunity as this year’s winner of the Greensboro Symphony Youth Orchestra concerto competition and the resulting Sam Wilson Scholarship award. The concert is free! This is an opportunity to recognize the wonderful work of our First Day School (religious education) teachers and also recognize our children (and young adults) as they reach important milestones.  We will recognize graduating high school seniors, rising 4th graders, and rising 2nd graders.
