We will cover the basics of Quaker history, the testimonies, and Quaker faith, Quaker community practices and business practices and variations among different branches of Quakers. An Evening of Music with Joel Landau

New Garden Friends Meeting 801 New Garden Road, Greensboro, North Carolina

Worship Room / Joel Landau will play guitar and sing popular songs starting around 1900, then progressing decade by decade into the 1980s. Along the way we’ll hear a selection from Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, the Beatles, the Stones, Smokey Robinson, Bob Dylan, and much much more! This will be a fun overview of the progression of American popular music through the years.
