The family New Garden is co-sponsoring has arrived! This lovely family of five has settled into their apartment, has been greeted by a number of New Garden members, has already taken a trip to the park, and is getting oriented to their community.
As of now, we are in need of:
- A dryer with limited settings, easy to operate and because of the electrical wiring in the apartment, it needs to be under 30 amp, 220 wired.
- We are still collecting monetary donations; checks to be made to New Garden Friends Meeting, with a note in the memo line; Refugee Welcoming Committee. You can also donate online and note Refugee Welcoming Committee.
- Note* we are slowly no longer taking furniture & household items until we are able to sort and give away what has been donated. We are taking children’s clothing.
