3:00 p.m. / Worship Room / Please join us for a one-woman performance by Diane Faison, inspired by the life and liberating work of Harriet Tubman and her path to freedom travelling the Underground Railroad at least 19 times freeing slaves. Ms. Faison is a graduate of North Carolina Central University, with post-graduate study at Longwood University and the University of Virginia. This performance will help celebrate Black Women’s History Month two days before the anniversary of Harriet Tubman’s death. The performance is free and open to the public. Free-will donations will help New Garden Friends Meeting advance its work to undo racism.
