Adult Forum / September 25
Hybrid Adult Forum went well! Moving forward, Friends may join us in the parlor, or on Zoom.
This week, Friends are invited to bring queries for discussion. Queries may be obtained wherever is most convenient. However, the Britain Faith and Practice is available in its entirety here: https://bit.ly/3R3XC8N
Zoom links will continue to go out with Religious Education updates and information. Contact Karin Heller if you would like to receive links. [email protected]

Join us September 25, October 2, and October 9 for New Garden’s own version of “heART journaling”. Art supplies (paper, markers, crayons, scissors, etc.) will be provided for Friends joining in person, but you are welcome to bring your own. We will begin with a query and reflection before moving into journaling. While Friends are welcome to share their art, there is no pressure to do so. Read more about art journaling in the article linked below.

Children are Welcome at Meeting for Worship
All children are invited and encouraged to join us for Meeting for Worship. Crayons and activity packets are available in the foyer outside the Worship room.
Childcare is available for children 0-4 years of age beginning at 10:30 a.m. until the rise of Meeting for Worship. Please contact Karin Heller if you plan to use childcare to ensure coverage. [email protected]
A greeter/member of the Religious Education Committee will be in the foyer outside the Worship room to direct newcomers and visitors with childcare needs. Look for a brightly colored name tag.

Volunteers Needed!
All of our Religious Education programming at New Garden Friends Meeting is meant to be a cooperative community effort. The Religious Education Committee is currently looking for Adult Forum facilitators, childcare volunteers, and Friends who are interested in learning more about Godly Play and Faith and Play for our Intergenerational First Day School. We especially need childcare volunteers.
Many have expressed interest in seeing more families return to Meeting for Worship. While children are certainly welcome and encouraged to join us during Meeting for Worship, many families opt to send their children to childcare for some portion of the hour. We would love to accommodate all families interested in doing this. However, without childcare volunteers, we are unable to offer childcare to children older than 4 years of age. Please email me if you would like more information about volunteering. [email protected]
