We are getting low on our financial contributions. New Garden has been financially supporting some additional families without co-sponsors to cover basic expenses including rent, utilities, etc. Please consider a gift (or an additional gift) – send a check to the office and write in the memo line “Refugee Fund.”

New Garden is co-sponsoring a number of households – join us! “Co-sponsoring” activities includes transportation to the grocery store, medical appointments, family outings to a local park, etc, helping a family set-up a bank account, etc. Email Cindy Knul if interested.

Ongoing household donations collection in the basement: We have been providing “complete household setups” for well over 50 households. This means we pack everything they need for their new home, like kitchen items, bathroom necessities, bed linens, along with mattresses and furniture. Movers come to NGFM, load everything and then set up the apartment or house for our new community members. We would greatly appreciate donations of these necessities in addition to volunteers helping sort items! Contact: Martha Hughes-James

Our open hours are: Wednesdays 2-5:00 p.m. / Thursdays & Saturdays 12:30 – 3:00 p.m.
