Are take-out containers, egg cartons and other foam packaging building up at your house? A local place to recycle foam is in the works. Environmental Stewardship Greensboro, Greensboro Beautiful, Tiny House, Emerging Ecology and local faith congregations are mobilizing to establish a local drop-off site to recycle foam products. Planned for the Tiny House Training Center on W. Gate City Boulevard, the site will be equipped with a ‘densifier’ to compress foam into ‘ingots’ for sale to manufacturers, of picture frames, crown molding and other products.
