Tuesday, May 25, is the one-year anniversary of the murder of George Floyd. Our NCFF Antiracism group will meet that night at 7 p.m. In memory of Mr. Floyd and all of the other Black people who have been killed in police custody, we will share our grief and anguish along with our prayers of lament. An article shared by Frank Massey about the power of lament is at: https://tinyurl.com/2mfhpw48
We will also hear a presentation by Bob Gordh, brother of Rudy Gordh, about why reparations are needed in the US. https://tinyurl.com/hx62jz8c . Bob has studied and written about reparations for years. Since he lives in California, we are very fortunate to be on Zoom so that he can join us. Please join us on May 25 and invite your family, friends, and others from your meetings. To get a link, contact CH Holcombe.
