Can New Technologies Including Nuclear Energy Help Solve the Climate Crisis?
On Sunday, June 27, an educational and interactive forum will explore the potential and need for nuclear and other advanced technologies to help address the on-rushing climate crisis. Friends from New Garden Meeting, Friendship Meeting and First Friends will host this forum by Zoom, starting at 2 p.m. Brett Rampal, a nuclear engineer with the Clean Air Task Force, will offer insights into how technologies, like hydrogen, carbon capture, small modular reactors and fusion, are emerging to ‘decarbonize’ power-generation.
