Each year New Garden Meeting awards scholarship assistance to undergraduate or graduate students from 5 established funds. Potential recipients must meet the criteria for one, or more, of the funds: New Garden members and attenders, or their families; first generation college students; those pursuing an education in the sciences; students attending Quaker colleges; students of color; LGBTQIA students.
Applications are available from the Meeting office ([email protected]) and are due by May 31st. Students who received awards last year are welcome to reapply. The Scholarship Committee meets in June to make the awards.
New Gardeners who would like to add to any of these funds are invited to do so at any time. Please put a note in the memo field of your check made out to New Garden Friends Meeting if you wish to do so.
