The Annual meeting for North Carolina Fellowship of Friends is August 21, at Quaker Lake. All New Gardeners are welcome and encouraged to attend. Worship sharing and workshops will be included, in addition to a business session.

FEMAP (Friends Emergency Material Assistance Program) volunteers would like the support of N.C. Fellowship of Friends in its ministries and outreach. Specifically FEMAP is currently providing school backpacks and spiral composition books for the students at the Episcopal Migrant Workers Center in Newton Grove NC.
Monthly Meetings and attenders are asked to send or bring backpacks and composition notebooks (or funds to purchase items) to the NCFF Annual Gathering held August 21 at Quaker Lake Camp. Financial contributions will be used by FEMAP volunteers to purchase additional school supplies to go in the backpacks.
