Can you can help recycle foam at the new Greensboro Foam Recycling drop-off site at 1310 West Gate City Boulevard? This is the only volunteer-based foam recycling program in North Carolina. Now that the densifier is installed at the Tiny House Recycling and Training Center, loads of people are dropping off loads of foam each day. With more foam coming we need more volunteers to work in 3-4 person teams.

  • Monday 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
  • Wednesday 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.

To reduce risk of spreading COVID-19 volunteers wear masks and work in a well-ventilated space.

For a better sense of the foam recycling project, see the that gives the rationale, origin story, and photos on the Tiny House webpage. https://tinyurl.com/y2rwdnjg If you are able to volunteer, please contact Bill McNeil at: mcneilplanning@gmail.com or call the Tiny House office (336) 897-1001. Thanks for all you can do to make this recycling venture a success! Bill McNeil, (919) 622-3303
