Hameed and Habba Safi and family recently arrived from Afghanistan. Hameed was an interpreter for US forces in Afghanistan. The family escaped to this country under harrowing circumstances.
Hameed has a masters degree in business and has held senior accounting positions for companies in Afghanistan. He is working as an interpreter for new arrivals and others.
