Again, this year Greensboro Urban Ministries has had to forego their spring food drive at local participating grocery stores due to COVID. You may remember that last year New Garden Friends Meeting had an alternative, virtual food drive, and raised $2,372 to help re-stock the GUM’s food pantry. Peace and Social Concerns Committee would like to challenge the congregation to top last year’s giving! Here is how it works:

  1. Make out a check to Greensboro Urban Ministries, and in the memo section indicate “food pantry”, OR contribute to New Garden Friends Meeting online, NGFM.org. and indicate for “GUM food pantry.”
  2. Mail checks to New Garden Friends Meeting, 801 New Garden Road, Greensboro, NC 27410.
