The Meeting on Ministry and Counsel continues to work with the COVID Advisory Group and our Communications Committee/Tech crew to determine a date to begin indoor hybrid semi-programmed Meeting for Worship, following the plan that was developed at the called meeting on December 12, 2021.
The tech crew is is very close to full implementation of the means necessary to carry out our plans.
Our current practice for outdoor worship and by Zoom when weather doesn’t support outdoor semi-programmed worship, will continue in place.
Additionally, the shared virtual experience of the programmed message screened in the meeting room for up to 100 people, and corporate waiting worship together was piloted on February 28, and is an interim measure to be together while the other plans move forward. Friends may greet one another and sing together outside at the rise of meeting.
Friends are reminded that unprogrammed Meeting for Worship is held in person at 9:00 in the Meeting room each first day. The Meeting on Ministry and Counsel is requesting that people attending in-person activities and worship in the Meeting House be fully vaccinated, remained masked indoors, and observe social distancing.
