Worship Room / Joel Landau will play guitar and sing popular songs starting around 1900, then progressing decade by decade into the 1980s. Along the way we’ll hear a selection from Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, the Beatles, the Stones, Smokey Robinson, Bob Dylan, and much much more! This will be a fun overview of the progression of American popular music through the years.
Deep River Friends Meeting, 5300 W Wendover Ave, High Point, NC 27265, will be hosting a fundraiser to raise money for the ongoing operations of the Belize Friends School in Belize City. This is part of the Belize Friends Ministries (Friends United Meeting) in Belize City. The funds will help with monthly operating expenses and teacher salaries.
