Greensboro International Storytelling Festival: Stories for Peace and Justice

5:30 p.m. / Guilford College Founders Hall, West Gallery / Join the Greensboro International Storytelling Festival: Stories for Peace and Justice for a reception and presentation by Amr Abdalla, PhD. Dr. Amr Abdalla’s presentation on Transformative Responses to Conflict and Violence: Islamic Perspectives continues the Greensboro International Storytelling Festival: Stories for Peace and Justice. Amr Abdalla’s presentation will explore peaceful approaches to conflict and violence by incorporating peace and conflict resolution frameworks grounded in Islam’s core sources. These transformative approaches can be applied to both large and small scaled conflicts. At 5:30 p.m. a reception will kick-off this event which will be followed by the presentation at 6 p.m. If you have any questions or would like more information please contact Zulfiya Tursunova.
