I am Zulfiya Tursunova, a community member living in Greensboro, NC. I am inviting Asian American community members to cook a meal and share a family story of the recipes, food culture and tradition by Zoom. Food has a way of bringing, connecting people and starting conversations. The premise is sharing about your favorite ethnic meal and teaching us how to make it. You would receive a small honorarium for participating. Being part of the collective will involve hosting one cooking session sometime in the month of September. Send one recipe for a traditional cultural dish. Share a short bio about yourself and your partner, as well as the significance of the recipe you shared (1 page) and attending one meet-up, one in October.
You will be an author of the recipe that we will compile in a recipe book. We hope to share your stories on the food blog. Contact me with questions ([email protected])
