Thanks to generous New Gardeners Community Housing Solutions reports that our contribution paid for energy-saving improvements in the homes of seven families. As part of our Solar+ Project, which paid for installation of solar panels on the Meetinghouse in late 2020, New Garden donated $30,000 to Community Housing Solutions (CHS) to help others save on energy bills as we helped reduce ours. CHS was able to stretch our donation further by partnering with an NCA&T energy-efficiency program. At least three more families will benefit with funds that remain from our donation.
