Dear Friends,
I have had so much fun connecting with people at Guilford College over the past week! On Wednesday, my class met in the meetinghouse (we are halfway through the semester!). Then on Thursday, I joined QLSP for Taize worship in the New Garden meeting room. Afterward, we had a wonderful dinner with Friends from the meeting, provided by Caring Friends. Five students stayed for our pastoral visitation training, along with many people from the meeting.
And finally, on Friday, I was invited to a dinner with the Guilford president and trustees. It was great to connect with staff, students, trustees, and other community partners. I know many of you have longstanding ties to Guilford, and I am looking forward to the ways we can continue to deepen these connections.
I also wanted to let you know that I will be on vacation from March 1-7. Deborah Suess will have the pastor’s cell phone while I am away, and Miles Foy will be bringing the message in worship on Sunday. I am glad to know that you will be in such good hands for the week!
