Daily walks in the Guilford Woods with her dog Bixby brings her great joy as do visits with her children, Annie and Ryland.

Karin Heller finds joy in relationship building, program development, creative problem solving, and supporting youth and families in their faith and life journey. She is fascinated by all things Quaker history, faith, and practice, and especially enjoys sharing what she’s learned with anyone who will listen. She lives in Greensboro with her husband, two boys, two goofy dogs, and one very large and stubborn cat. -
Deborah Suess
VISITATION PASTOR
[email protected]Deborah Suess finds joy in sitting with, learning from, and helping provide pastoral care to members and attenders. She loves spicy foods, dancing in the kitchen and traveling with her husband Tim–especially when they can drive wherever the wind blows them.

[email protected]Charlene is passionate about providing great customer service and quality administrative work to further the mission of NGFM to love others and create a better world. She lives in the woods with her husband, Randy; together, they raised Sara, Matthew and Julia and are blessed with 9 grandchildren.

Andy Mock
ORGANIST
Andy Mock thoroughly enjoys playing for the choir and providing music for meetings and other events. He is a retired teacher (Guilford County Schools, UNCG, High Point University) who continues to work at Greensboro College in the Musical Theater program.

Caretta Brown brings 20 years of administrative experience to her role at NGFM. She is motivated by creating smooth office operations and a welcoming environment for both her colleagues and the Meeting’s members and wider community. -
Mark Alley
MUSIC DIRECTOR
[email protected]Marc Alley greatly enjoys working with the choir and the NGFM community of talented musicians. He teaches music at New Garden Friends School, directs the volunteer choir at Temple Emanuel, gives private vocal lessons, and has performed all over the Triad with various musical groups. He hopes to grow the choir as well as increase opportunities for more artists in the Meeting to share their gifts with the community.

Liddie Hurst
HOUSEKEEPER
Liddie formerly worked at Guilford College for 20 years before transitioning to New Garden Friends Meeting. She feels right at home in the family-like atmosphere she finds both at work and in the larger New Garden Community.
