Caring Friends volunteers<\/p>\n
\u2022 knit afghans that are given to New Gardeners following the loss of a loved one.<\/p>\n
\u2022 provide meals for New Gardeners recuperating from illness.<\/p>\n
\u2022 write notes of support and make calls and visits to others in the community who are grieving or recovering from illness.<\/p>\n
The Caring Friends program is coordinated by the Meeting on Ministry & Counsel. Volunteers choose which activity in which to take part.<\/p>\n
