Brotherhood Room / 12:15 – 2:30 p.m.

This coming Sunday, September 16, the Lunch&Learn series will continue with a film directed by James Redford, “Happening-a Clean Energy Revolution”. The film will start around 12:20 p.m.with discussion to follow as we explore how to live our stewardship principles and effective ways to combat climate change.

From the Director’s Notes:
“Most Americans understand and accept the reality of climate change. Nonetheless, many of us feel uncertain about what we, as individuals, can do. For many of us, solutions to climate change seem out of reach, out of scale and fatally entwined in partisan politics. In spite of the turbulent political divides we are currently enduring, I feel more hopeful today than ever about our ability as Americans to combat climate change, and I am excited to share this with audiences so that they may feel this way as well.”

The Social Concerns committee invites you to bring a bag lunch and join us monthly – every 3rd Sunday for movie and discussion series on our Quaker Testimony of Equality.
