Thanks to all of you who have come to have your picture made for the new directory. Thanks, also, to those of you who have communicated with me or Carol Cothern to submit a picture. Three steps to submitting a picture for the directory:

(1) Send us a picture via e-mail to (gbeal@guilford.edu) or to (cotherncarol@gmail.com). Or you can drop the picture by the Meeting office, or mail it to the Meeting at 801 New Garden Road, Greensboro, NC 27410.

(2) For each picture sent; also send $7.50. You may send a check or drop by a cash payment to the Meeting office.

(3) Finally, for each picture submitted, we need a statement from you that you have permission to use the photograph. This is particularly true for any professionally done photograph. This absolves the company doing the directory of any copyright infringement.

We will be contacting any of you who don’t contact us. We will first try by e-mail. If you don’t respond within the week, we will be calling you. Please help us by responding the first time or even before we call you! It takes anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes to help someone get a photo into the directory this way. Joan McNamara will be helping us make the telephone calls. We will be contacting those at Friends Homes and other retirement facilities and hope to be able to have pictures made of those Friends. We would love to have a volunteer or two to help get those pictures made. We will help with the $7.50 submission fee for these Friends if needed.
The absolute deadline for submitted photographs is March 1, 2019.
