7:30 p.m. / Temple Emanuel, 1129 Jefferson Road, Greensboro, NC / Please join us for this moving service, featuring inspirational music that will ensure a memorable evening The purpose of this special service is not only to honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., but also to reach out and facilitate dialogue within the community. We will celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King and lift up the work of fighting racism and bigotry. At the same time, this is a moment when Antisemitism has again impacted Jews here and abroad. We need allies of the Jewish people present to stand with us. Reverend Dr. Darryl Warren Aaron, Pastor of the historic Providence Baptist Church in Greensboro, will be our special guest speaker. We will also feature music by the High Point University’s Genesis Gospel Choir. All are welcome, and we encourage everyone attending to bring as many people from all walks of life and faith traditions as they can! This is a great event for middle and high school students.
