New Garden Friends Meeting Social Concerns Committee provides small grants to organizations for projects addressing priority issues through our Broader Concerns budget. Priorities for 2018, drawn from a Fall 2017 survey of New Gardeners include: peace and conflict prevention/resolution; poverty, homelessness, and hunger; youth engagement; environment and clean energy; social, racial, and economic justice and refugee crisis and immigrant rights. Worthy organizations advancing any of these priorities
through programming or projects, should send a one page proposal to Sara White: ([email protected]) or Bill McNeil at ([email protected]).

The deadline for proposals is October 7, 2018. Projects may be located in Greensboro, in the U.S., or other countries. Usually grants range between $250-$500, with exceptions for exceptional proposals. For more information, please contact Sara or Bill at the email addresses above.l
