Annie Patterson
Dear Friends, Some of you will remember the fun we had hosting Annie Patterson and Mary Witt at New Garden Friends Meeting the evening of March 7, 2020. Little did we know that we wouldn’t be able to be in a crowd like that again this year!
They have written to me with another opportunity — this time a concert with Annie and her husband Peter Blood. They are doing an on-line SING OUT THE VOTE concert on October 2nd. We are paired with GA. (There are actually several concerts so if that date doesn’t work well for you, feel free to choose one of the other concerts that you will see on their website).
Sing Out The Vote – NC & Georgia! Friday, October 2 – at 7 p.m. Shift the political power for the 2020 election & beyond! All of the proceeds will benefit the Movement Voter Project. Tickets may be purchased at https://www.riseupandsing.org/events/sing-out-vote-nc-ga. It is a “pay-as-you-can” concert. There is no set cost for the concert. After you register, you will be sent a Zoom link to join the concert.
