Recent MacArthur Fellow Robin Wall Kimmerer will be giving a public lecture at Guilford on Wednesday, March 1 at 4:00 p.m. in Dana Auditorium. Kimmerer’s book, Braiding Sweetgrass, has been the College’s common read this year for first-year students, and we are very excited to have the opportunity to bring this amazing plant ecologist and writer to Guilford. Kimmerer’s writing, teaching, and research blends traditional ecological knowledge from her Native American heritage with contemporary science.

The lecture is free and open to the public. If you are interested, please register for the event on this webpage.
