Join Friends in a Snow Camp Quaker tour of meeting houses and restored mills on October 22. This trip brings together our different Quaker branches who have expressed interest in our common roots at this time of celebration of our 350 years of originally being in North Carolina. Snow Camp, first settled by Quakers in 1749, and Cane Creek Friends Monthly Meeting, established in 1751, known as the “Mother of Meetings” in central N.C., as well as Spring Friends, West Grove Friends and Quaker-built historic mills will be featured.
We have a bus! Leaving First Friends Meeting House Saturday, October 22 at 9am, returning at 5pm, the suggested cost is $25 per person.
