New Garden Friends Meeting is seeking an Interim Pastor. The primary duties of the Interim Pastor are to deliver First Day messages and provide pastoral care to the Meeting. The Interim Pastor will also participate in the governance of the meeting by attending Monthly Meeting for Business and other committee meetings as needed. Other duties may include weddings, funerals, and other meeting events.
The position offers individual health insurance, paid time off, and use of parsonage or a housing allowance. Salary will be commensurate with experience. The interim pastor reports to the Presiding Clerk and to the Meeting on Ministry and Council. The initial contract will be for six months, potentially renewable for another half-year. New Garden hopes to fill this as soon as possible.
