On First Day, April 16th, the Peace and Social Concerns Committee will host a letter writing event in the Fellowship Hall from 1:00 – 4:00. You may drop in for a while, or spend the whole afternoon. Choose a topic of your own leading or choose one or more of the topics for which we are providing sample letters and talking points provided by Friends Committee on National Legislation: Fair Treatment for Immigrants, Gun Violence, and Climate Change. Writing supplies, stamps, and addresses to your legislators will be provided. Let’s fellowship together while expressing our concerns to our representatives in Washington. Light refreshments will be served.
