Fellowship Hall / Join us for a laid-back time of food, fellowship, and fun crafts and activities! Please contact Karin Heller for more information, or if you would like to lead a craft or activity, or take a shift reading Christmas stories in the parlor.
The New Garden choirs will bring the message with Christmas music.
The carolers will meet at New Garden Meeting at 4:45 p.m, walk over to Friends Home Guilford and begin caroling at 5 p.m. They will return to the meetinghouse for pizza following the caroling.
Music will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the program will start at 7 p .m. Apple Cider and cookies will be served in Fellowship Hall after the service.
Worship Room / Joel Landau will play guitar and sing popular songs starting around 1900, then progressing decade by decade into the 1980s. Along the way we’ll hear a selection from Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, the Beatles, the Stones, Smokey Robinson, Bob Dylan, and much much more! This will be a fun overview of the progression of American popular music through the years.
Worship Room / Please join us for a concert (including a sing-along portion) by Annie Patterson and Mary Witt. Annie is the co-creator of the best-selling songbook Rise Up Singing. She has led singalong concerts across North America and abroad building “hope & change through song.” Mary is a terrific vocalist and bass player.
