Caroling at Friends Home Guilford

New Garden Friends Meeting 801 New Garden Road, Greensboro, North Carolina

The carolers will meet at New Garden Meeting at 4:45 p.m, walk over to Friends Home Guilford and begin caroling at 5 p.m. They will return to the meetinghouse for pizza following the caroling.

Christmas Eve Worship Service

Music will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the program will start at 7 p .m. Apple Cider and cookies will be served in Fellowship Hall after the service.

An Evening of Music with Joel Landau

Worship Room / Joel Landau will play guitar and sing popular songs starting around 1900, then progressing decade by decade into the 1980s. Along the way we’ll hear a selection from Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, the Beatles, the Stones, Smokey Robinson, Bob Dylan, and much much more! This will be a fun overview of the progression of American popular music through the years.

Songs of Hope & Courage: Celebrating Pete Seeger’s Legacy

Worship Room  / Please join us for a concert (including a sing-along portion) by Annie Patterson and Mary Witt. Annie is the co-creator of the best-selling songbook Rise Up Singing.  She has led singalong concerts across North America and abroad building “hope & change through song.”  Mary is a terrific vocalist and bass player.
