The NCFF Yearly Meeting “New Beginnings” will take place August 9 - 11 at Quaker Lake Camp (1503 NC Highway 62, in Climax, NC). The cost is free. Donations appreciated but not required). New Garden Friends Meeting / We are excited to announce our first open forum called the Gathering on August 11, 2019 at 4 p.m. Our facilitators will be the Rev. Nelson Johnson and Joyce Johnson. We know many of you are familiar with their profound work in our community. We look forward to seeing you as we continue on this wonderful and important journey at New Garden Friends Meeting. Beverages will be provided.
The annual Friendship Community Partnership picnic will be held at New Garden Friends Meeting on Sunday, August 18, starting at 3 p.m. Burgers and hot dogs will be served. Bring a covered dish to share. There will be music, games, fellowship, and a graveyard tour with Max Carter. Anyone willing to volunteer for this event, please email Rick Tunkel.
