Max Carter will lead a (day called) Memorial Day cemetery tour at 10:00 a.m. on Fifth Month, 27. The tour will cover not only the usual themes of the day but also highlight the contributions of burial ground residents to peace and justice work. Barbara Levin will join us to share information about Real World English (RWE). RWE is a collaboration between UNCG and Allen Middle School. This free program has two major components: (1)Adult TESOL classes (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at four levels, and (2) STEAM activities (Science, Technology,Engineering, Art, Math) for children ages 2-14 while their parents attend English class.
