American Friends Service Committee Webinar
May 5, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until May 19, 2020
Our communities are feeling the devastating impacts of COVID-19. From overburdened hospitals to struggling families, people across the U.S. are hurting. Our federal and state government have responded by providing cash payments, health care, expanding unemployment benefits and other benefits—but many immigrants have been left out and the impacts of COVID-19 continue to impact
Now more than ever it is important to stand with our immigrant community and be intentional about the ways that we show up for them. To explore immigrant solidarity models and dive into ways that you can support your local immigrant communities, AFSC (American Friends Service Committee) will host a webinar series on Solidarity in Times of COVID-19. The details on the three-session series is detailed below.
