Adult Forum / Wanda Osborne Foil

Join us for a special Adult Forum/performance by Wanda Osborne Foil. Wanda is a communication consultant, motivational speaker, singer, and actress from Salisbury, N.C. Wanda and our own Nancy Walker have performed at New Garden Friends Meeting on several occasions, and now we have the opportunity to see Wanda perform her monologue on the life of Corrie Ten Boom based on the book “The Hiding Place.” Corrie was a survivor of the holocaust when many Jewish people were destroyed by the Nazis. Corrie and her family were arrested and imprisoned for running an underground to save the Jewish people. In the monologue Corrie tells her story and explains how God’s light of love and forgiveness was able to shine in the darkness of a concentration camp. The monologue will last approximately 30 minutes. She will allow time for questions. Friends are invited to join us and give as they feel led to support Wanda’s ministry.
