Coping with COVID / January 5, 2022

Update from the COVID Medical Advisory Group North Carolina has seen a dramatic increase in COVID-19 cases in recent weeks, including the delta variant and, increasingly, the more-highly-contagious omicron variant. Hospitals and the healthcare workforce are strained. As weary as we all are of the restrictions and inconvenience COVID has caused us, we hope you will not let down your guard. We still have much to learn about the omicron variant. Vaccines are your best protection…

In the new year Friends will be coming back to the meetinghouse for worship. Perhaps then, after being away for so long, we can see with new eyes what was once so familiar. Note: If you haven’t been in the nursery for awhile, you may have missed the Black Jesus painting. Thank you to the Friend(s) who…

From the Anti-Racism Group / December 20, 2021

We have been meeting every other work as we try to discern how to move New Garden toward an Anti-Racist faith community. Some things have already been undertaken (hiring black-owned and run companies), and we have several things in the pipeline, including discussion in upcoming Forums.
