Summer Program will run on three Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 19, July 10 and August 28. Summer Program has always been a cooperative program. However this year, due to Covid guidelines (and also because it’s more fun this way!) adults/caregivers must stay for the entirety of the program. Covid-19 Vaccine Information / June 9, 2021

We held our first outdoor in-person semi-programmed meeting, with simultaneous Zoom, on June 6 at 10 a.m. Approximately 70 people were in attendance on the meeting house grounds and 30 participated by Zoom. Cases of COVID and hospitalizations in NC have stabilized at relatively low levels this week. Vaccination numbers increased last week with NC now having 38.6% of the total population and 76.9% of persons age 65 years and older now fully vaccinated. Vaccination continues for 12-15 year olds. Greensboro Urban Ministry Food Drive / June 2021

Again, this year Greensboro Urban Ministries has had to forego their spring food drive at local participating grocery stores due to COVID. Memorial Day Cemetery Tours / May 31, 2021

With the increasing vaccinations and easing of restrictions on outdoor events, Memorial Day tours of the New Garden graveyard will resume on the 31st. We will still take precautions, however.
