Friends, as I shared Sunday, I spoke with Margaret about the progress with her recovery. The complications of her pregnancy are uncommon and difficult to treat, and she is receiving excellent care. At this time, her doctor advises that she is unable to return to work, and her treatment and recovery will be lengthy; how long is not known. Margaret continues to be out on medical leave until at least May 16, and Ministry and Counsel clerk Karen Garraputa will coordinate with Margaret about her return.
