The carolers will meet at New Garden Meeting at 4:45 p.m, walk over to Friends Home Guilford and begin caroling at 5 p.m. They will return to the meetinghouse for pizza following the caroling.

6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. / Worship Room / Music will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the program will start at 7 p .m. Apple Cider and cookies will be served in Fellowship Hall after the service.
11 a.m. / Worship Room / The New Garden choirs will bring the message with Christmas music.
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. / The Parsons Circle is hosting the annual Cookie Bake in the kitchen and fellowship hall – bring your prepared cookie dough and bake with your friends.
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. / Fellowship Hall / Join us for a laid-back time of food, fellowship, and fun crafts and activities! Please contact Karin Heller for more information, or if you would like to lead a craft or activity, or take a shift reading Christmas stories in the parlor.
Many thanks to the folks who volunteered at the New Garden Peace Booth at the Fun Fourth Festival. It was well received and lots of folks posted their responses to the query “What do you do to promote peace?” Some of the goodies were “always be kind and never give up,” “respect the worth and dignity of all,”be willing to listen and care first”… Our peace symbol was covered with these and many, many more.…
New Garden will be hosting a Peace Booth again this year at the 4th of July celebration on Elm Street in downtown Greensboro and we need volunteers who can run the booth. You are being asked to engage with passers-by and ask them to respond to a query about peace. They are encouraged to write their responses on sticky notes that will then be posted on a large peace symbol. Shifts run 2 hours. If…
Easter Sunday, April 21, we will gather as a community to celebrate life and resurrection, hope, and new possibilities. Again, this year we will have many flower vases set up on a table in and around the Meeting room and you are invited to bring flowers from your yard (or ones that you have bought) to add to our worship space and our Easter celebration. I am filled with gratitude for the generosity of New Garden Friends Meeting. For the 4th year, I have gone to Walmart to anonymously pay off some gift layaways. For the last several years I have invited New Gardeners to give some money to help support this activity and every year I am humbled by the outpouring of gifts!
