10:00 a.m. / Friends, we are planning to resume in-person programmed meeting for worship at 10:00 a.m. (not 11 a.m.), beginning on June 6, 2021, outdoors (weather permitting) on the grounds of our meeting house.
9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. / Unprogrammed Meeting for Worship will take place outside the Worship Room in the grassy area between the covered porch and the parking lot.
Cases of COVID and hospitalizations in NC have continued to decline again this week. Vaccination numbers increased last week with NC now having 37.9% of the total population and 76.4% of persons age 65 years and older now fully vaccinated. The Pfizer vaccine has been approved by the FDA for use in 12-15 year olds, and is now available for this use. With the increasing vaccinations and easing of restrictions on outdoor events, Memorial Day tours of the New Garden graveyard will resume on the 31st. We will still take precautions, however. Tours will be offered (two times) 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Each tour will be limited to 25. Masks are to be worn and social distancing observed. To register, contact Max Carter at ([email protected]). Friends, we are tentatively planning to resume in-person programmed meeting for worship at 10:00 a.m. (not 11 a.m.), beginning on June 6, 2021, outdoors (weather permitting) on the grounds of our meeting house.
