Summer Program Our next Summer Program date is fast approaching! Join us Saturday, July 10, 9 a.m. -1 p.m. We will spend our time together outdoors (in the shade), masked, and 6 feet apart. Greetings to Friends everywhere, As the Covid-19 pandemic continued to grip our world, the 2021 Piedmont Friends Spring Retreat met virtually April 9-11 for a weekend of fellowship, worship and the Piedmont Friends Yearly Meeting (PFYM) annual sessions. Friends gathered from Piedmont Friends Fellowship (PFF) and PFYM monthly meetings and worship groups in North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina. Cases of COVID, hospitalizations and percent positive COVID tests in NC have stayed stable at low levels this week. Vaccination numbers did not change this week with North Carolina having 42% of the total population and 79% of persons age 65 years and older now fully vaccinated. As we gradually resume in-person activities, we continue to prioritize safety and inclusiveness for all users of our meeting house, both New Gardeners and visitors.
