Margaret Rowlett and Vicki McCready, members of First Friends Meeting, have participated in the Working Group to Undo Racism of First Friends Meeting since its inception in January, 2016. They facilitated a workshop during the North Carolina Fellowship of Friends Annual Gathering (virtual) and are excited to engage with other Quakers on the topic of race. WFDD held a Zoom meeting with WFDD Reporter/Producer David Ford and David Campt, a public speaker, dialogue facilitator, author, and the founder of The White Ally Toolkit, which teaches white allies how to participate in effective discourse about race. This week we are even closer to a local way to recycle foam products. Environmental Stewardship Greensboro, Greensboro Beautiful, Tiny House, Emerging Ecology, New Garden Friends Meeting and other local faith congregations are organizing a local drop-off site at the Tiny House Training Center on W.
