Hello, New Gardeners, I hope you’ve been enjoying having the choir back singing again as much as we’ve enjoyed singing for you. I’d like to ask you to take a moment and consider joining our choir. We always welcome more voices and are particularly in need of male voices. Reading music is certainly beneficial, but not mandatory since you can learn your part by rote during our rehearsals. Singing in the choir is great way to get to know other members of the meeting and to help provide a meaningful service to the community.
We rehearse in the meeting room on Wednesdays from 6:00 until 6:45 and try to sing just every other Sunday. Feel free to try coming to practice for several weeks until you feel comfortable enough to sing with the group before meeting. Also, if you need child care, please let me know so I can make arrangements to have someone there to watch the children. I hope to see you at practice soon!
