9:45 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. / Parlor / You can be a part of the process of discerning key issues that Friends Committee on National Legislation will lobby our elected officials in the coming congressional year! A distinctive feature of Friends Committee on National Legislation is the practice of asking Quakers around the country to help shape their work. Every two years, Friends Committee on National Legislation asks Friends, meetings, churches, and other national groups to share which of the many public policy issues and questions in “The World we Seek” need close attention. Your answers are the foundation for the lobbying priorities that Friends Committee on National Legislation will set at its Annual Meeting in November, 2020. Questions, comments? Email Lizzie Biddle or Mary Luckhaus.
