Hameed and Habba Safi and family recently arrived from Afghanistan. Hameed was an interpreter for US forces in Afghanistan. The family escaped to this country under harrowing circumstances. Hameed has a masters degree in business and has held senior accounting positions for companies in Afghanistan. He is working as an interpreter for new arrivals and others. Breakfast 4 Our Friends

Help serve “Breakfast 4 Our Friends” to people experiencing homelessness every Saturday morning 7:45 – 8:30 a.m. at the Davie Street Parking Deck in Downtown Greensboro. Call Laura Baker at Tiny House Community Development if you are interested in volunteering, (336) 897-1001. Tiny House aims to reduce homelessness by building tiny home communities in Greensboro and High Point and by offering work skill training and stability to those who find themselves homeless.
